European Parliament calls for improved policies for high GHG saving biofuels post-2020

The European Parliament has adopted an own-initiative report on the European Commission’s 2015 Renewable Energy Progress report. The European renewable ethanol association (ePURE) welcomes the Parliament’s call on the Commission to ensure the full implementation of the 2020 Renewable Energy Directive and to present an ambitious post-2020 legislative framework with a binding target for at least 30% renewable energy use.
