New ethanolfacts.eu website launches
Online resource answers common questions about renewable ethanol and sustainable biofuels
BRUSSELS, 6 November 2018 – Ethanol Facts, a new online resource for information about renewable ethanol, launched today as part of an effort to help inform the public about the production, use, sustainability and importance of ethanol as a renewable fuel.
The ethanolfacts.eu website has been created by ePURE, the European renewable ethanol association, as a one-stop-shop for information about ethanol. In the EU, renewable ethanol helps reduce harmful emissions from cars, contributing to the fight against climate change and the drive for clean mobility.
“Renewable ethanol helps reduce harmful emissions from cars, contributing to the fight against climate change and the drive for clean mobility,” said Emmanuel Desplechin, Secretary-General of ePURE. “We believe ethanolfacts.eu can help provide answers to many of the most common questions people have, and clear up some of the misinformation that is out there.”
As part of a broader campaign to engage with citizens on the subject of renewable ethanol and the fight against climate change, ePURE has also launched a new Twitter account, @ethanolfacts.
